Not like they have anything else to do with the money. Harmless on a one year. You gotta overpay to get anyone to sign here. I'll go yes here since they've already done well getting assets for cap.

He hasn't played in 2 years! Why is he getting 3 mil?

He must have had some pretty insane seasons in Russia to deserve that much.

He just had a god season in the KHL, but yeah he still shouldn't of gotten this much,

How does Vinnie get a third of a guy that has been relegated to Europe for years? Vinnie should fire his agent.

He was KHL MVP and then followed it up with top 5 KHL award and sniper of the year award. This guy went off in the KHL, lets see how he does in a top 6 role back in the NHL. Great prove it deal for the Yotes

IF you watched KHL it's the only name you would have heard.

The hockey is pretty decent. I watch MHL and KHL when I can find the streams.

KHL may have honestly surpassed AHL in skill level at this point. Would be very cool to see an interleague tournament between the two

THe purpose of AHL is to groom prospects (mostly) but I think KHL would win that tournament.

Vote yes because Coyotes flip him at the deadline for a pick, retaining salary

I think most of the people who said this was a bad deal didn't look at his KHL numbers. The price isn't terrible if he's a bust, but the upside could be huge.

Good signing if he isn’t playing well you could flip him at the trade deadline for a pick or two
