Man whoever signs Reilly to that deal is gonna hurt from it. I think he probably gets something close to that snd I just do not see it aging well. Like most of those deals tend to look down the road I suppose.

First, Edm has no cap for Edmondson.

Second, Reilly probably is going to get $9M b/c that is what the going rate is for a top pair defenseman. Toronto won't win with a bunch of second and third pair defenseman. It will cost the Leafs just as much to replace in free agency. The reality is Matthews is the only one of the "four" you honestly could get a decent return for and try to retool with the assets and cap space before it's too late.
