Henrique is a salary dump, so if you include him....you have to add something, otherwise the deal is better for Buffalo without him.
but its still not enough. and Zegras isnt likely going anywhere.

Edmonton wouldve been smart to move Koskinen- and he might be worth it for Buffalo to pick up with the right sweetner, but I doubt Edm. is okay with going Smith/Stalock/Skinner for the entire year, and not much left as UFAs to replace him.

There is no salary dump when you’re trading a 10M AAV contract, any Eichel deal will need to have salary going back it will not negatively affect value.

Either way ANA doesn’t even consider this for a second

Henrique is a salary dump, he is way overpaid- so any trade involving him has to include other assets, regardless of whats coming back.

Edmonton declines. They aren't trading their 1B for no return let alone giving up a pick too. They'll need him to spell Mike Smith at regular intervals.

Why would they? Eichel needs surgery and doesnt make Anaheim a remotely competitive team, Zegras has Eichel potental

Oh no, Eichel needs a surgery that takes about a month and a half to recover.
And no, Zegras does not have Eichel potential. If he did, he would have went top 5.

it will take 8-12 weeks before he can play again, go listen to the 31 thoughts podcast with his doctor.

Zegras definitely has Eichel potential, his draft position does not determine that. Refer to Brayden Point for reference

Point was drafted low because of size.
And you're right, it can take closer to two months. Even tho, still worth it.

2-3 months minimum

Kucherov was also drafted in the 2nd round, same with Aho. again original draft position does not matter. Zegras quickly became the best prospect in the league post draft

Guys drafted in the second round and later are not comparable. I'm not saying you have to be drafted 1st overall too be good. What I'm saying is, guys with Eichel potential are normally know before the draft. So they go top 5. Regardless of everything, Zegras will be good. But he won't be Eichel.

And no, not 2-3 months minimum. 2 months tops.

its literally 8-12 weeks thats 2-3 months lol

Yes Zegras 100% has Eichel potential. Saying he doesnt because of where he was at age 17 is just ignorant

"On average, artificial disc replacement recovery time takes about 3-5 weeks; however, artificial disc replacement recovery time varies from patient to patient. Many patients can return to light activities and desk work within 1 week, but a few may not be at full activity level for up to 3 months."

I think a pro athlete will be ahead of the curve.

And, you must not know how to read. It's okay, I forgive you.

The recovery to start practicing is 4-6 weeks, Eichel's personal doctor said it will take 8-1w weeks before he can play an NHL game again

LOL Sabres will never get close to that deal. You realize his value is going down with the 2022 NMC clause approaching and still no surgery?!?
