These Larkin threads need to stop. He's not available and teams wouldn't be, and shouldn't be, willing to pay the INSANE overpayment it would require for Detroit to part with their hometown, 25 yo captain.

Then things would get boring now wouldn't they? It's fun to fantasize what it could look like. If we all just put the basic moves every team is going to do then this wouldn't be needed. Now I agree Larkin isn't going anywhere but if for some strange reason a team wanted to pay as Kings ransom for him I would let him go and try to resign him in two years.

That's fair, this is all entertainment anyways... I don't know, to me if something doesn't even have a snowball's chance in Arizona of happening, I've never understood the appeal, because it doesn't even have the chance of good dialogue, it just spawns bickering....

Definitely not enough for Larkin. Miller + Chytil, a B prospect, plus a 1st would be a starting point. Even if Larkin is only a 70 point guy, he is a true C that definitely can win faceoffs (even with his down year last year is 51% for his career, hit 54% 2 years ago), and plays on all special teams. He wouldn't be an elite C, but the numbers show he would be a low end 1C, top end 2C (he could be the 3rd best 2C in the league easily).
