You mean the revenge Bergevin got by letting the Canes keep KK....the Habs got the last laugh on that one. KK will go to salary arbritation next summer and the Canes will be force to continue to pay over $6 million for a 35 point player. Or else they walk away from KK and end up losing a 1st and 3rd Rd pick for a 1 season rental.

Yamamoto probably wouldn't leave Edmonton to come to Columbus. He took a 1 year discount to prove to the team he is a 40+ point winger. His next contract will be 3+ years at 4ish mil

umm...not a Habs fan. Just stating a fact when you look at his stats, he scores at a 35 point pace. Don't you hate when facts get in the way of your agenda....it's so annoying, I know which political party you're from.

As for KK youre delusional if you think bergevin won. Every report thats come out has said that the canes and KK have outlined an extension that would pay him roughly 5×4.5 or so. Give or take a year and 500k. MB spent a 3rd overall pick in a solid draft and came out with a late 1st and a 3rd. Thats a massive fail. Personally i think KK will become a 55 point good 2-way 2C. Its kind of crazy the narrative that GMMB won when all the facts clearly show otherwise.

Yes every Top 5 Overall pick is a sure fire franchise player, no other team has flub their choice. *sarcasm alert*

The reports are wrong, or KK and his agent are morons.... KK has all the power, he is in control, with the Q.O. starting at $6 next year and the fact he owns arbritation rights to force his demands.

KK would be stupid to sign that extention deal and both Gary Bettman would look investigate this and the NHLPA union rep would slap KK for accepting a paycut as a 22 yr old with all the signing rights he enjoys.

Lmao you do know youre slightly delusional, or maybe more than slightly. "The reports are wrong or KK and and his agent are morons" or maybe he isnt willing to bet on himself. You think youre smarter than every gm. You think waddell didnt think of this?

Yama is getting roughly 10m more than what he signed in Edmonton. If he denied this, hypothetically, and still stumbles next year he would regret it.

Also Ottawa is rebuilding too and I would be absolutely stunned if brown wouldn't sign that. Hes had injury issues but the sens have also disrespected him quite a bit

Cbj was very high on him in the draft year and he still has promise. If you have the cap you're essentially getting him for free at that price, you'd just have to worry about revenge.

People spend their time making offer sheets but in the reality, it just very rarely happen

Outside of Bergevin with Point and Aho, last time was 2013

At least with trade proposals, you have a chance to create a realistic scenario

So if KK scores at a 55 point pace like you said is possible, than why does he sign an extension early at $4 million. That delusional.

Like I said repeatedly to you, KK has all the power, with the Q.O. $ amount and he can go to player arbitration next season forcing the big ticket contract or get UFA, which he'll score easily more than $4-$5 million. He isn't a Pontypool, who is lucky to get anything over $1 million.

Trust me, NHLPA will be watching KK closely. Taking a team discount isn't something the PA wants 22 yr old star players to do.

I love how you call him a 35 point player and now hes a star. So basically what i was saying, make the facts fit the narrative.

Nope wrong again Mr. agenda. I said if he scores at a 55 point pace, he is a star player.
