The Hawks really dont want to do this. Considering Toews situation.. it would have to be a big add by BOS. Purely on the situation. Whatever people want to say about the trade value is whatever. The Hawks situation really doesn't want DeBrusk and needs another potential center.

Same age, both regressing, similar point production. Both RFAs to be. Strome can play C and still has the perception of better pedigree/higher ceiling. Boston adds a 4th. I’d say pretty close. From a team need standpoint i think Boston is more receptive to doing it than Chicago.

Don't see how it does. Strome would be competing with guys like Haula/Studnicka for a 3C role. He's not really an upgrade over anything we already have in the system.

No, no he wouldn't lol. He 100% would be battling for a 3rd line role in Boston. Again we have plenty of similar type players.

The fact Chicago hasn’t traded Strome tells me they aren’t sure on toews, yet.
If they were he’d be gone and we all know that.
