SJ declines both.

Poor organizational fit with those assets from Boston, SJ does not need another mediocre LW and fringe C. Better off trading him to a Vegas or Colorado who has the assets that SJ needs.

No reason to pay to trade Kane, who is looking like he'll either be terminated, or be suspended for 1yr+ (for the fake vaccine card).

Sharks won't pay to move Kane, that situation is going to work itself out one way or another. The Hertl deal is not remotely good for SJ, Boston does not have the assets we seek.
