As @Zuki9797 says, that pick is now owned by Montreal. At the draft this July, Anaheim had a sudden urge to select Tyson Hinds, so they traded their 2022 third for Montreal's 2021 third and chose Hinds. Don't ask me why.

Kurz said it best. "Top flight prospect who is either NHL ready or within a year and a 1st in 2022" I don't see Doug taking less. Hertl could still re-sign as well.

MTL needs a bottom 6 Center who can take bulk faceoffs and play a defensive role.
We dont need Hertl we got Dvorak and Suzuki.

RD you're right we need help but you didnt aquire that.
You swapped a LD for a RD who fill a similar role

If its me im talking to NSH about 1/3 Centers as they're Rebuilding or LAK who's Center depth is vast with ELC's on a few guys ending(Even a Lizotte would work in a pinch)
Personally i'd target Colton Sissons as he fits our Long and Short Term Needs.
