Does your team have a really underrated trade that they made? If so what is it?

Acquiring Edmundson's rights has looked good but can be underappreciated, Kulak for Rinat Valiev and Matt Taormina was a minor move that's looked great, Raphael Diaz for Dale Weise was a great move that can be underlooked, Craig Rivet for Josh Gorges and the pick that became Patches may be a bit forgotten, the Kovalev trade could also be one and I'm too lazy to look further

acquiring Sergei Bobrovsky for three draft picks that turned out to be absolutely nothing.

Zach Hyman and a conditional seventh round pick in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft from the Florida Panthers in exchange for forward Greg McKegg.

I mean for Stars trading Chiasson, Paul, Guptill and a 2nd rounder for Jason Spezza was a dub for us considering the only think Sens got for that trade in the long-term was Nick Paul and we got a 1B center who scored 50+ points three years in a row before flopping.

Also trading Oleksiak for 4th and trading that same pick for Oleksiak a year later is underrated trade in terms of how stupid that sounds.

Marcus Johansson for a 2nd (which became Fehervary) and a 3rd was a pretty good one.

Moving up in the 4th round in 2010 for Grubauer is another.

Tampa trading 2014 80th overall pick (Louis Belpedio) and 2015 204th overall pick (Jack Sadek) to Wild for 2014 79th overall pick (Brayden Point) turned out pretty well for TB.

The story behind it is hilarious.
Apparently out on the floor of the draft (remember those days? lol) the Wild GM turned around to look at Yzerman after he called with the offer and Yzerman just shrugged.
Of course now we know Minnesota was going to select Point. Almost feel bad for them.

Tampa Bay Lightning

I never knew that. Wow. Incredible how much Yzerman contributed to these past 2 years, even if he's no longer with the team.

Edmundson was awful in the regular season last year. He was a giveaway machine and his analytics were awful. We will see if he can replicate his playoff success when he comes back.

Erik Cole is one hell of a throwback. Red Wings and NHL 14 legend.

You see those are all good deals, but I don't consider them underrated which was the main point of this thread. Also, Domi for Anderson seems to have benefitted both teams as they've both done good for their respective team and Knazko, the player CBJ got with the 3rd in the trade looks pretty promising
