I find it a little funny to go and get goaltending for a team that just won a game off of a shutout from a rookie goaltender. Not that the Caps couldn’t use an upgrade, just odd timing lol

Fucale only needed 8 years in the minors. The new Corey Crawford. Corey did I think 7 years off and on. Same draft position as well in 2nd round. Hmmm

Never said it was anything other than the same ballpark cap fit and window. Goalies also dont age like Big centers. Price at 39 years old is still an elite goalie. regression doesnt come for goalie. The examples are endless. Roloson, Thomas, etc

Most deals are steals. Ppl dont understand that. Eichel was a steal. Stone was a steal, getting Iginla was a steal in Calgary for older Joe Nieuwendyk, then Dallas won a cup despite appearances.

You overpay to meet your window. Vegas has learned this while most GMs play it safe to avoid embarrassment and go nowhere because they dont want to pay more than a overpaid 4th liner PP specialist cough Calgary cough
