I’m pretty sure Jack Eichel grew up a Canadiens fan, even if he’s from Boston.

Growing up a Canadiens fan but from Boston 😳

My dad is from Toronto grew up a habs fan (60s)

And even he still hates Boston lol

So “hometown” in this case means Montreal encompasses all of Quebec and the Maritimes?

I guess "Montreal" means the whole QMJHL catchment area, we might as well include New England in that too.
