Hardest of passes from the Rangers, obviously.

Said no-one ever that's won a cup, small price to pay for a depth forward who's good on PK

-Monty probably clears.
-Sure on Perreault. Might be able to squeeze out a 3rd.
-Kosk>Allen
-Think you're looking at a 2nd for Chia. Doubt the Rangers move one of their recent 1st rounders for him. There's also likely going to be a number of LD's available at the deadline, which will water down the market.
-LA is bottom 6 heavy already.
-5 future years of Girard >>>>> 2 years of Toffoli. There's absolutely zero reason for the Avs to move a 23 bonified top 4 dman out. Byram, Girard, Makar, and Toews are an excellent, affordable top 4.

I think FLA could take Monty back and then hope he clears the other way since MTL wouldn't need him anymore.
Koskinen has been good this year, but he always seems to lose it sometime during the season. Allen gives them more room for other trades aswell.
Only put Girard on here cause he's been talked about in trade rumors from the Avs

The Kings are not winning a cup this year, playoffs maybe. But fine, here are the Kings bottom-6 options, to illustrate my point:

Kempe-Kupari-Moore
Lemieux-Lizotte-Grundstrom
Kaliyev-Vilardi-Tkachev
Turcotte-Byfield-JAD
Wagner-Tynan-****emo-Frk

The Kings could also scoop Kyle Clifford off waivers who they won 2 cups with, they don't need depth, they have depth and NHL graduates desperate to play.

I just want to add, not about the players but the “since there’s never agreement on here “ comment. I’ve noticed that as well, which is why I rarely post my teams or trades on here.

It’s annoying!

Lehkonen would be a healthy scratch on the Kings right now. They're already at risk of having to put a quality player on waivers when Arvidsson and Vilardi return from COVID protocol this week.

Currently their bottom six is Grundstrom-Kupari-Moore, and Lemieux-Lizotte-Kaliyev. Kupari has been really good is his NHL showing so far, but he's still going to be returned to the AHL since he's waiver exempt. Kaliyev has looked ok, but he's not NHL ready yet. Kempe is likely going to get bumped out of the top six when Arvidsson returns, even though he has been fantastic during the win streak.

Here's what a healthy LAK looks like:

Arvidsson-Kopitar-Brown
Iafallo-Danault-Athanasiou
Andersson-Vilardi-Kempe
Lemieux-Lizotte-Moore
Grundstrom

Grundstrom has also been fantastic so far this season, but he's likely going to be the odd-man out. They might give him Lias Andersson's spot, although they like Lias and Vilardi together.

There's just no room for Lehkonen on this team.

When Viktor Arvidsson and Gabe Vilardi are healthy, LA's bottom 6 will include at least Carl Grundstrom, Arthur Kaliyev, Rasmus Kupari, Brendan Lemieux, Blake Lizotte, and Trevor Moore. And that's before dropping two guys out of the top 6. (Iafallo-Kopitar-Brown and Arvidsson-Danault-Vilardi leaves Athanasiou and Kempe on the outside.) "Our team has too many bottom 6 guys" was said by every Stanley Cup winner who had 9 of them, which is what the Kings would have with Lehkonen. And when last I looked, the PK was not a problem for us.
