Care to explain why? I know Chychrun is likely untouchable as ARZ will build around him but you're basically getting 3 first round picks and cap dump (could probably be flipped for late picks).

Because none of these first round picks you're offering are going to be high end players like Chychrun is.

Basically what one of the other commenters said. I’m not moving chychrun unless I’m getting a firm top 10 pick in this draft (so after this season only), a high end prospect (a Turcotte level guy to use him as an example), a let’s say top 7 protected 1st next year, and a 2 or a lower level equivalent prospect. Chychrun is a 1D who’s numbers sucked due to completely unsustainably poor shooting metrics for and against. He’s rounding back into top pairing D form, and he’s getting paid $4.5m for the rest of this year and the next 3. The going rate on defenseman of his caliber were $9-9.5 this offseason. You’d have to absolutely blow the doors off Arizona to get chychrun. It’s the combo of how good he is, and how absurdly cheap he is compared to peers, plus the long period of control that sets such a high bar
