This team, aint it.
lets sell what we can at the moment and get stuff so when we go down to the bottom we can get shayne.

Kane for myers, bad for bad, just two different kinds of bad.

Petterson looks to be harboring an injury, I can see him hopping on IR for a bit so that some of the youngsters can get time and that we can be bad. Same with boeser, I think he has a back problem and will take time off this season.

next season objectives: RDH 2 PK units, 2 3rd liners, a RHC and a winger.

Can’t do one year retention but blues could afford him if you take back Scandella so maybe up the puck to a second also Ana’s is 28 or something not much of a prospect

none of these trades happen.
leafs dont have the cap room in that trade money would need to go out.
Edmonton just says no as motte is not worth a 2nd
no one wants chaisson thats why he was a PTO
and the meyers thing is ridiculous hey lets tie up 9.5 million in myers a bottom pair defense for the next 3 seasons that's how we can get back on top. Yes they will likely have to eat half but they wont be taking back your anchor
TB again no cap space and probably dont want a goalie.

Would love JT miller on the Leafs, but cannot see the money working out. Also we probably won’t part with Amirov as we will need rookies on their ELCs (especially LWs) to support the left side with our cap restraints.

Maybe Pearson for a 2nd and 3rd with cap retention.

Oilers decline, Motte's not worth and second rounder we have lots of energy guys that make 750k and we don't need PK guys
