Flames don't need Rittch. We have Vladar. And he got a 3rd half retained last year and he has done nothing. So that value may be lower like a 4th or 5th

No way on the forsberg trade. Have to be an overpay to get poile to trade within their division. This isn’t it

selling low on Forsberg (and that's before even factoring in retention). high on Rittich + Cousins, and spot on for Benning

I think Benning could fetch a 4th, but I've always dreamed big.

If COL were making an offer on Forsberg, I'd like to see one of Helleson or Barron as part of the return.

Adding a RD prospect makes a lot more sense than either Kaut or Jost

A Boston College kid, or a former teammate of L'Heureux - Poile would love it.

Helleson and 1st? Personally I love Helleson he is something different than anybody the Avs have he is big skates and has a definite defense first element to his game.

With COL being in-division, not being able to offer a 2022 1st, and wanting retention, I think the Avs still have to add to that, but Helleson is absolutely the kind of prospect NSH should be looking for here.

Poille trades within the division all the time.

I get that but COL would want to try and have an extension in place at that kind of price. Just my opinion.
