It's interesting. Lehkonen was outstanding during last year's run to the finals: while he is labeled as a bottom 6 guy, he is exactly what every team needs come playoff time. For precisely that reason (and that he's only 26 and an RFA under team control), it'll be tough for the Canadiens to move him. However, this might actually entice them to do it.

Connor and Dubois yes. Dubois has slowed down a bit because he was rocking a ridiculous shooting percentage early, but he's still driving.

Scheifele had asymptomatic covid but he still missed a chunk of time quarantining and I wonder if that's effected him. He looks slow this year

I'd much rather the Jets hang onto the guy with higher upside. Lehkonen is a run of the mill 4th liner. He's not worth giving up anything of value for.

While I like Lehkonen and think he could moderately help this team I'm not sure a tweak or two is going to be enough for this team, a bigger shakeup might be required.
