I would try asking the Mods in the site discussion forum first, maybe there's a fix to it without you having to re do your team. If there isn't an answer or fix I guess you'd have to re do your team

If you intend on buying out any players this year, rather than get stuck with that buyout cap hit, trade the player to me for a draft pick.
Obviously big contracts of the world that are 5M+ for more than 2+ years will need a decent return as that is a high cap hit to buyout. But 1 year contracts between 2-3M will cost much less.
Why waste that money on buyout cap hits when you can use it in free agency instead? Make the trade to me!
