GM Game Master Thread

OK. Here's a game that people can play if they want where people can pretend to be the GM of a team, and we can make trades and stuff as if it's the offseason (no vegas expansion trades until we get closer to the expansion draft, though you may talk about those trades). You may ask for a team, and i will give you that team if it isn't already taken. My favourite teams are the Rangers and Islanders tied, so i'll be the Islanders. Each person may only be the GM of one team.

Guys, nobody's accepting my rules and they're trying to trade already even if their team is still in, and all they're doing is trading, trading, trading.

We're agreeing to the trades, but I'm not putting them on my actual team until Montreal's season is over.

The team still being in has no bearing on anything. All of this should be being seen as 2017 offseason pre-expansion

Not really fair to let everybody out go crazy trading, while teams in sit there w nothing to do. Getting left behind

I know a few players I was interested in were off the board before I even had the chance to sign up.

So were not allowed to trade yet? When are we doing the expansion draft? I dont see any point for the Leafs to make a trade until the expansion draft is over.

Ok so I'm officially peeved off right now. I leave the game for 2 minutes and we're starting a GM mode without me???

Edit: I'm officially offering my advisory services, kind of like Gauthier with Gainey but minus the stupid advice that should of got him sent to Siberia in a crate.

I was originally hoping that you'd get the Canadiens, and palhal would get the Leafs, but I'm a Sabres fan, and Sabres fans don't get what they want.

okay, fine. New rule: we anyone may trade right now and the unofficial trade thread is about official trades. However, no expansion trades with Vegas until we get close to the expansion draft.

I think if you check I already had Wiercioch signed. Makes more sense to transfer that value which was already accepted than to change the parameters I think.
