OK. Here's a game that people can play if they want where people can pretend to be the GM of a team, and we can make trades and stuff as if it's the offseason (no vegas expansion trades until we get closer to the expansion draft, though you may talk about those trades). You may ask for a team, and i will give you that team if it isn't already taken. My favourite teams are the Rangers and Islanders tied, so i'll be the Islanders. Each person may only be the GM of one team.

I have De-Haan, who's a good LHD, but he isn't signed. I would obviously add more though, as De-Haan for Pavelski would be horrible for you, but if you traded Burns for not enough, does that mean you'd trade Pavelski for not much? Probably not, but what else would it take?

Yeah it is on the list on the main or master thread, but the team is not showing on the forum as a sticky like all the other teams.

I know someone inquired to me earlier about Patric Hornqvist. I know I initially declined but I have a problem of one too many high talent RWs. I'll be willing to listen to an offer on him. I'd like to not make a deal until after expansion draft though. Want to make sure I have enough players eligible for expansion draft.

Yes, but is Boeser going to have enough of an immediate impact? He's still an unknown quantity, while Hornqvist has proven, tangible benefits for a team looking to contend for the cup.
I've already moved on, so this isn't related to me wanting Boeser. I'm just talking GM to GM right now.

Completely understand. Quality GM to GM conversation is good for everyone to see other perspectives and think outside the box. Boeser had 4 goals and an assist in 9 games with the Canucks this year. I've got him slotted alongside Trocheck and Tatar in a "third" line role. To be honest i've tried to make my lineup such that all four lines can be rolled out with zero sheltering. Even if I move Hornqvist, (which is less likely cause I think I've found some line combos that work everyone into lineup) Boeser would play second line with Foligno and Reinhart. I don't need him to have an "immediate" impact, just solid contribution.

If you can fit them both, that's a different story. It's what I would try to do. I think I already told you, but my plan was to develop Boeser alongside Jost on the 3rd line. Andrighetto or a revitalized Yakupov on the other wing would hopefully give me a dynamic line prepared to move up the lineup permanently over the next couple of years. They'd start as a 3rd line, but hopefully progress to 2nd line as a unit, or at least a 2(a) or 2(b).

If I was a contender however, I'm not moving Hornqvist to make room for Boeser.
