My guess is Staal would want to go to the olympics then maybe sign an nhl deal after that.

this moves really are unnecessary and over complicated , all avs have to do is add a middle 6 winger who PKs, a depth dman...thats it

They dont need to move Jost, a top prospect in Barron, a pretty interesting prospect in Ambrosio and their back up to get a middle 6 fwd and a depth dman.

So who is definitively better than the Avs in the west or for that matter the NHL? The TRUE only thing they need is a freaking PK system that isn’t utter nonsense.
