Don't see Leafs moving Robertson for a rental.

Yikes. If we are moving Robertson, its part of a deal for someone like Chychrun, not Max Domi

Getting Seattle to agree to that might be easier than getting Larsson to agree. Very doubtful he’s an option.

Not saying your wrong, but is there a reason Larsson wouldn't want to go to TO? Doesn't like the spotlight?

The Leafs like the Arizona deal, but not the other two combined.
Kerfoot has been playing well, and Holl is fine for this year and next year. So the really don't see the improvement on the team this year. Then Domi isn't a Leaf next year. Larsson for 4m X 3 years, I don't know if that is such good value. And the Leafs give up a second and Robertson too? No thanks.

As an oiler fan who absolutely loved Larsson I will say he seems like a guy that stability is important and doesn’t want to bounce around. He choose Seattle he got clauses to insure that stability. I’d be blown away if he was moved in the next 2-3 years.

Leafs would have to get their Swedish crew to work on him then. Maybe he'd be tempted if he was likely to play with Sandin for the next 3+ years.

99% it wouldn't happen, but I'd like him more than the vast majority of other options out there for Leafs.

Excellent target would be huge win if can swing it. Sadly he doesn’t get the respect he should always being connected to the trade with hall. Hell of a player I will always miss in Edmonton.

Why wouldn't they? Larsson sucks and Kerfoot is better than Appleton. Why would TO do this?

Larsson at anything more than 1 million is a horrible deal. He's Bogosian but worse with the puck on his stick.

Until you watched him play and realized he's a tire fire of a player. When he's on the ice, his team never has the puck. He hits and blocks shots because when he's playing the other team has the puck the whole time. One of the worst possession players in the league. He fits TO's system like Nylander would fit with Torts.

Seems like we're going back on time. Any RHD in the league, regardless of his cap is so much better than the Leafs Dmen.

Zero evidence to support that. He's not good defensively. He never has the puck and doesn't get it back and when he does have it, doesn't know what to do with it. He's a stay at home pylon.

Larsson is a good defensive player.

But his one flaw, he is a horrible puck mover

Thats why Toronto did not trade for him 2 years ago.

As Leafs love puck moving Dman and Holl despite his flaws is a solid puck mover

Where is Seattle’s defence even? Was this meant to be an elite core? Because if it was Grubauer’s life would be a million times easier

To be fair its not all on the Dcore as if you look at Gru's eye test numbers and some other goalie metrics they have crashed hard

Its almost as if he relied upon Colorado's elite Dcore to ease him through a game.

Like Seattle is allowing the least amount of shots yet Gru seems to have a tough time catching those beach balls lul

But yeah surprised their Dcore is struggling as

Giordano-Oleksiak
Dunn-Larsson

Is a good top 4

Basically Bobrosky 2.0 is what I came up with lul
