Oilers fan here - I haven't kept up with Bear and the Canes so I'm curious. Is he that bad that he can't even play on your bottom pair?

Bear isn't bad at all. I've liked his play a lot. We're just very Boston and Tampa-phobic over in these parts, and injuries happen sometimes.

I like Suzuki, Bokk hasnt been great but isnt a bad piece either. Smith and the hawks 3rd dont really move the needle that much tho. If Smith and the 3rd were upgraded a bit then maybe. Keep in mind youre trying to pry Ottawa's second best defenceman off of them, will definitely take a little more than that to get them to play ball. Pass.

What about Miller or Pysyk from Buffalo? Heck even Hagg can play right side. They would all be pretty cheap too
