Where to start...
Brock Boeser really doesn't make any sense for us to acquire unless you buy into the "home-town kid" narrative (and Guerin has indicated before that is not a factor to his roster making decisions). He especially doesn't make any sense if you plan to play him at center. He's purely a winger. He will also cost a lot more than that to acquire and we won't be able to afford him (I think he makes at least $1M more than what you gave him, if not more). I like him as a player, but it's just a waste of assets to acquire him when we don't really have a need for him.
Why would the Jets trade Hellebuyck? Especially to a division rival? Gordeev is worth nothing at this point and Baribeau probably isn't anything more than a fringe NHL'er, so you're essentially paying Dumba and a 2nd round pick for a top goaltender in the NHL with a very reasonable contract. Dumba is a fine player, but that package will not get you Hellebuyck.
I think Cam gets about that in a trade, maybe a 2nd round pick straight up. Kulikov has looked great but I'd be surprised if he got much more than a 3rd and maybe a later pick. I think Kulikov is here to stay though.
Fiala should get around, if not more, than what Boeser makes this offseason. My guess is somewhere between $7-7.5M AAV.
Rossi is way better off playing top minutes in the AHL than 4th line minutes in the NHL. His game is not suited for that role.
Blue line overall looks rough. If you keep Dumba and move Cam for picks you're a lot better off.
