Pretty good. Habs would have to retain on Smith and Radu to the Rangers

So a 4th and Petry gets you 2 1sts, 2 2nds, a 3rd and a prospect? (the smith and radulov deals and then to NYR)

Pure insanity

The Blues are not trading Neighbours+ for your refuse rental. Sorry.

Edit: Geez, now that I look over the whole thing, that might only be the 3rd or 4th most egregious fantasy. Duuuude.

Bro, this is god awful. I'm ready to consider it satire.

Welcome to MTL ACGM where literally anybody they are trading for has no value and anybody they are trading is worthy of Hall of Fame returns.

While that is likely true, there should be 31 NHL GMs refusing to trade with Vegas right now unless they are getting a killer deal.
Of course there will be at least one GM who can't read the room and will look foolish for giving Vegas a get out of jail free card.

For such a new team, it's remarkable how Vegas is constantly able to attract UFA's and make blockbuster trades with little resistance. They're playing on easy mode right now. Other GMs have to keep them in check and raise the difficulty.

Having an owner that cares helps. No state tax new facilities, and going to 3/4 wcf helps too.

Some teams offer different advantages, Vegas definitely has several. No hate intended btw. From a competition standpoint, GMs simply need to be tougher in negotiations to cut into those advantages.

You're closer than most on the Avs deal, though I suspect they wouldn't be any more keen to move Helleson than Barron, especially if his stock rises with the Olympics.
