very good, but no team in the history of the NHL has made the playoffs in both confernces in the same year

If you are going by the "current playoff match-ups if the season ended today" they are rather misleading. Use the point pct. instead.

Some of us figured tht out.

I think that Calgary and Las Vegas will finish in the first two slots in the Pathetic. The question is whether Edmonton can right the ship and make the right move(s) to stay ahead of the SoCal teams. (When all teams' records at exactly 41 games are considered, the Oilers were a smidge ahead of both.)
