Hagel price

Created by: HappyKampfers

Initial Creation Date: Feb. 14, 2022
Published: Feb. 14, 2022

Description
The Hagel price is reported by DFO. I doubt it be that high but will be close. Hagel is 1.5m at 3 years. He's very good. I wouldn't really mind giving that much up tbh.

Yeah this seems about right. He's not getting traded though. Dehaan at 50% for a 2nd makes sense for both sides imo though

If hawks acutally are going through a rebuild not what they did in the off-season this just feel like a price they would trade him for. A good 1st round plus a prospect plus b prospect sounds too good. I think if he do it be a bit lower than this maybe a worst asset than the b prospect

My point is just that TOR isn't offering Amirov+1st+ for Hagel. If they do then hawks accept, but they won't offer that. And I wouldn't trade Hagel for just Amirov or just the 1st, so that's why I don't see a deal happening

Yeah my thinking was Hagel would cost something like a Robertson and a 2nd. I love the player and the contract obviously, but that does seem a bit much to me. But man he would look nice on the leafs.

I acutally think this is a trade dubas would make so. I watch a lot of hawks hockey and I liked the Kampf signing and they were looking at Kampf. They had to see Hagel too plus getting Hagel plus a dman sounds really good especially for the cap hit

It's alot but when you think of getting a d with it and that Hagel is 23. 2 years after this year AND is a rfa. Sounds really good

Yeah even De Haan in the trade is a really good pickup, though I guess coaches are really odd about the top4 dmen all being the same hand.

You have to give up to get I guess.

Sorry this real doesn't make sense. Leafs are flush with cost efficient LWers (and LHD). Seems ridiculous to give up young assets for a position that is already strong.

I mean, if the offer is Amirov and a 1st for Hagel, Hawks accept. Also, tap on a 2nd or something like that for De Haan.

Hagel is good for now and future with his contract. Dehaan can play RD. The major thing is how Hagel is (he's good) and his term plus cap

The price for Hagel will be high given they don’t want to trade him. He doesn’t fall in the category of guys that will be moved but can be for the right price. Similar situation of Tampa acquiring Goodrow. I’d accept if this offer came through.

Hagel for a 1st and Robertson...Hawks need to get blown away to move him and that's probably what it would take given that they've already been offered a 1st and prospect, the prospect needs to be a higher end guy and maybe the Hawks move him.

Now is Hagel worth that...no if you look at his contribution on the ice solely, but yes, it's situational for a contending team the next couple years that needs a top 6 winger and is up against the cap as his contract is hugely attractive and he's proven unlike Robertson at this point.
