Not likely the Jets send Scheifele to someone in the west and definitely not for that offer.

It would take a young RH defenseman or prospect with top pairing potential or a young center or prospect with 1C potential as the main piece to get the Jets talking.

Pelletier would be a must in the trade

Zary is a 1C potential prospect FYI

Zary and Coronato both have higher potential than Pelletier. Pelletier is just further along in his development

Not from what I've seen. He's not a sure enough thing to risk moving a point per game 1C on a great contract over. Especially to a western conference team.

It's not that it's a bad offer, just not outstanding enough for what Winnipeg would be looking for IMO.

That offer isn’t even close. Quality > quantity.

Start with Schneider and add from there.

I like that line up a lot. 3rd pairing is a little weak, but there are ways to upgrade. That is a lot of assets for one player though. I doubt Winnipeg would do that. They would have to hope Mony has a bounce back, Dube and Zary reach their potential and would have to hit on the 1st, which would likely be a late round pick. Thats a lot of ifs...

Yeah it politically won't matter, Scheifele isn't likely to be traded unless he asks for it or the Jets decide on a new direction in the summer.

Sorry Zary isn't but Coronato might be. Pelletier is further along and that's another reason he would need to be included. He could step in right away and would be filthy with Perfetti

Im not arguing the value of the trade because I think its flawed to begin with, but Zary is definitely a 1C potential prospect. Dont base it off this years AHL numbers, he started the season on IR and Stockton has been red hot since day 1. Voach doesnt want to mess with chemistry so he's played almost strictly on the 4th line

Toffoli, Scheifele resign both Gaudreau and Tkachuk. Dude you don't have the cap space to add all 4 players to the roster. You're still 2 players short with 0 cap yeah good luck with that.

Okay, I'll take your word for it. You probably track Zary and know him far better than I do.

Look at it this way, he played excellent last year on Stockton's top line. He didn't suddenly forget how to play hockey
