I wouldn't move olofsson for a 2nd, and I think the Sabres front office is on the same page.

I'd decline this. Detroit can get a 3rd round pick for the retention alone, without giving up a player.

If any team wants Leddy with retention they will have to make a better offer.

Agreed, For a 3rd round pick Leddy would be at full value. 2nd rounder for 50% retention of Leddy. And Yzerman is a adamant if he doesn't get what he wants he wont move anyone. If he doesn't get what he wants he'll just keep all of his pending UFAs.

The conditional pick on the Subban deal is unusual one:

1. 2022 2nd round pick (NSH)
Turns to 2023 if the Predators do not win the Stanley Cup in 2022

Its usually X pick that upgrades if they do win cup.
