I genuinely find it hilarious when half of Leafs Nation loses their minds after 1 period.

Because Reilly and Brodie were poor on those two Canadians goals.....so Holl gets traded and a 3rd liner winger is added at a big overpay.

You're right....but it's not an offer the Leafs make.

Even funnier when Leafs Nation thinks getting players from the 3rd worst team in the league will make them better.. Arizona is bad for a reason.

From the author of this post, Holl gets blamed for every Leaf mistake...so he gets traded. By the way, Reilly and Brodie were mistake prone on those two Montreal goals tonight, Holl was on the bench.

Even if Crouse was being shipped to the Leafs. How in the world. Seriously. What? How is this even remotely the value ?

Maybe ask why the Habs are winning, physically engaging the Leafs. Right now, the Leafs look intimidated

so none of them. got it. Thanks for confirming that you have no idea what is going in in the game and you just think physicality is the solution to everything and that every time a team loses it's because they are 'intimidated'

Well, physicality is the big part of the game. Right now, the Habs are taking runs at the Leafs and the Leafs want no part of it

I am watching the game, physicality and pressure is what is bothering the Leafs right now and teams are taking notes. Leafs are making themselves look vulnerable, they need to fix their game

sure, they need to fix their game. they dont need to fix it by hitting more. or paying hilariously too much for 3rd liners.
so again, tell me what holl should have done more physically on those two plays to make them better, tell me which goal would have been prevented by hitting. You cant, because you have no idea why they are losing and just think body checks solve everything

Holl was afraid of the physical contact, he didn't want to get hit (weak mentality). You make the play and take the hit if it comes down to it, but instead he retreated and lost puck possession. In order to win in the playoffs, you play a Montreal style of game that we are seeing tonight, hard and physical

so what should he have done? You do realise that not skating the puck into a checking forward is what every player does right? he didnt have a pass option and he didnt have defensive support. Sure he lost the puck but it wasnt because he was afraid. So again, What would lawson crouse or ben chariot or josh manson do to help that out? nothing, because physicallity is not an issue with the leafs.

Like any player who doesn't care about getting hit, Crouse or Manson would have made a pass
