Just because the Jets paid less that what Dillon was worth because Washington was in cap trouble, doesn't mean the Jets will move Dillon at the same bargain cost.

The Jets have no reason to move Dillon now, as they can just keep him and easily get the same in the summer. No from Winnipeg.

For the Jets to move him now? Probably a first. If Chiarot is worth a first according to the experts, Dillon is worth at least that and likely more being a better player.

If dillon made half as much for half as long he might be an ok target, but not at that price. He isnt very good at all

To be honest, I’d expand it and also try and get Demelo. They can have Dermott and Holl and extra picks if they want.

Ya, I asked Frank Seravalli and he said that Dillion would cost more than Chariot because he is way better and under contract at a fair price. I saw a trade this morning - Dillion for a first + Hirvonen + another pick. That is a trade that I would accept.

That one is kind of a meh for me. Dillon had been really good for the Jets, I don't think they should be in a hurry to trade him.

It took the Jets 3 years to put together a competent defense, so I don't think they should be in a hurry to throw that all away and start at square 1 again.

But they have younger d man that can play in the nhl right now. If we keep this d core we should just trade Heinola, Samberg, Chisholm, kova

I'm just saying, the Jets shouldn't be in a hurry to blow up a defense that they have been trying to fix for 3 years. The type of offers on these threads are nothing spectacular and would be available at any time. So, why rush? Wait and see if the new guys pan out and move guys then of they become redundant.

Heinola and Samberg have shown that they are not only NHL quality d men, but also fringe top4 d men at a young age. We have JMo, Dillion and Stanley on the left side and there is no way to fit Heinola and Samberg in unless we trade Dillion and Stanley.
