Meh. Not really a double standard.
You can't claim someone is naive or ignorant of player values and also accuse them of trolling. They either don't know what they are doing, or they do. Having a different opinion of players' values doesn't make someone a troll.

The actual troll posters profess to know better, but they do it anyway. It's less problematic to ignore some poor valuations than it is to allow dozens of threads that are purposefully designed against the spirit of discussion.
