I never like trading your chips together. Varlamov & Mayfield can both potentially pull in a 1st, or a 2nd & a good prospect, so I think you're underselling their value here. Varlamov to Mrazek is a downgrade, and you're locking in an extra year at $3.8M for your backup goalie. Mayfield to Holl is an obvious downgrade, in both talent and cap hit, and he's a guy that TML fans seems to want to dump any which way they can. The prospect you're getting is in the middle of Toronto's rankings and the 1st is gonna be in the 20-25 range. I think you can do better.

Avs won't be moving out a roster D and not for Chara. The third for Clutterbuck with full retention is probably the likely value if it happens.
