can't see Minney doing that. They can dump Rask to a bottom feeder for a 3rd/4th I imagine. Give up a pick for Boyd and keep Beckman.

As a Habs fan, I'll take Rask for even a 5th. He's just a body for 20 games.

Rangers are not giving up Chytil for a rental in Kessel and Larsson is not an upgrade over Rooney when you take into account Rooney's very good PK skills, defense, physical play and willingness to stand up for his teammates. With Goodrow and Reaves they are a very effective 4th line. No thanks from the Rangers.

Easy no for Minnesota. Russo who covers wild hasn't reported anything that Minnesota is interested in Travis, so whoever is saying that is lying. We aren't trading Beckman because we don't need to dump Beckman. We have 11mil in cap room. Travis Boyd would be an extra body and we don't need him.

Jack McBain is expected to sign soon and wild are going after Undrafted Minnesota born C Ben Myeres hard.

I would normally agree with you since that trade did seemingly come out of nowhere, but OP said the talk is that the Wild want Boyd. Without them saying where they heard it, I tend to lean toward it being BS or from a fake account since that happens all the time around this time of year. The closest thing I could find was a fan video which cited an article they saw on Twitter a few days earlier but couldn't find again.

Minnesota has over 10 million of cap space for the deadline. We are not giving you Beckman to take half a year of Rask.

Pens can probably get at least a 2nd back for Kap since he has the offensive potential and has the 2way play anyway if he never gets back to that potential, it’s low risk for any team to pay
