Can't see the Avs using a 1st on Lehkonen - there will be other bottom six guys available at a more desirable price for the Avs.

he's a rfa so you can take care of that at the end of the season. he'll cost less after being on col's 3rd line for a while then after being one of the most used mtl's forward.

he is the worst type of RFA, 1 year away from UFA with arb rights and will probably come off a career high in points....which isnt even that much
Hes not going to be cheap bc of his arb rights, wont be worth his contract for a 3rd line defensive forward well north of 3m aav

I guess it depends on what a new deal would cost and if they could buy some UFA years and what they're thinking in terms of using prospects next season. That's tough to predict so I'd say probably not.

One year away from UFA, so the RFA status really diminishes in value.
