Don't see NSH considering that offer, and why are the Isles in on a UFA?

Don’t think Colorado would be in on a goalie with how good Kuemper and Francouz have been playing

He's already told Chicago he doesn't want to be dealt at the deadline.

Why? Kuemper and Francouz have both been significantly better than MAF this year.

Cap exists and at the deadline you’re only absorbing what’s left on their season hit at the time. Clutterbuck is a rental and Avs can decide what to do next season with goaltending. Watched a bit of their games recently on ESPN+ and their home announcers were talking about needing serious goaltending help. It was just a thought.

Nashville has apparently already came out and said they’re exploring trading him because they’re likely not re-signing him. The Islanders were linked to him last season on trade targets and it seemed there was mutual interest from him. Isles likely will target him in FA. This gives them a jump on a SCORING forward they desperately need, which Beauvillier is not. I’m not very high on him so I always look to move him on here. I’d imagine Nashville takes that’s offer in a heartbeat if they don’t have him locked up long term for sure.

Trading a young top 6 winger for a forward that most likely won’t sign is horrible asset management.

The avs don’t need goaltending help, That is just lazy, look up the numbers. And in no way were avs home announcers
Saying that. That’s just a lie

Also do the math, avs can only add an aav of approx 2.2m with the cap they acrued. They can’t do this,

Friedman said there’s mutual interest between NSH and Forsberg to get an extension done. I think the only way he gets traded is if it’s an offer that Poile can’t refuse.

NSH has been pretty adamant they want to re-sign him. I'm not that high on Beauvillier either. He doesn't have the size or physicality John Hynes prefers. If NSH does wind up trading Forsberg, I think they'd be looking for a 1st and good prospect. Aside from Räty, NYI doesn't have a lot of interesting propsects. I think a playoff team with a deeper pool could make NSH a better offer.

if they were going to go after someone it does make sense it would be fluery. I dont think he would be expensive because he will only allow a trade to certain teams.

Just wanted to jump in on one trade that hasn't been touched here -Eberle is not coming back to NY for a package that's Josh Bailey (worse production, slightly less bad contract) and a lottery ticket pick. He's actually tied for the scoring lead on the Kraken, too - so I don't see them having much imperative to move him.

they said they wanted a 1st round pick for Fluery, and he wants to stay in chicago

Avs are not investing 2 1st rounders and timmins for 2 goalies who are both UFAs after this year. Kuemper has been one of the leagues best goalies since december when he came back from his minor injury

They dont have to do anything in net, they arent burning major assets on a back up goalie who might not even play a single minute in the playoffs
