The Leafs team is VERY good. But for a playoff run they want to improve. Upgrading Holl in our top 4 is a clear way to improve. He is still a good top 6 dman on any team but with how the Leafs D is constructed, he would be a clear target to improve. (and cap needs to go out for cap to come back in)

Holl could fetch a 3rd rounder easy. a 2nd rounder would not be out of the question.

Either way, the trade you proposed won't happen. I see the Leafs being interested in all 3 pieces you listed, but you have 3 of our top 4 prospects and 2 1st rounders in there. That would not be worth it from the Leafs. I don't mind if the Leafs spend a lot but if they are giving all of that, we better be getting Chychrun and Fleury and JT Miller.

TOR would have to move a heck of a lot more to get Chychrun Fleury and JT miller.

Half the Leafs fans are ****ing morons, coming from one. A guy makes a couple of mistakes and suddenly he’s a cap dump. Holl is prone to the odd mistake but overall is one of our better defenders, and he makes a positive impact on the game consistently. People just pick him out due to him being less skilled than our other d men, but despite a bit less skill he still outperforms the others often. A very fine 4th/5th d man who plays PK

I get that. I feel like people have the same feelings about Gus in CHI too. They just have an irrational hatred for him.
