Red Wings will happily make this trade. 🙂 I don't think Toronto would though.

No we wouldn't. He's a RD (which we don't need) who hasn't played a minute in the show and Fabbri is a 50 point forward in the actual NHL. They would have to add.

His numbers in Europe are ridiculous. Agreed Wings don't need a RD, but sure as hell wouldn't be adding lol

Liiga numbers don't translate. You would add. Established NHL players don't get traded for non NHLers without something to mitigate the risk that the prospect never makes it to the NHL. In this case probably a 2nd.

I agree I do like Niemelä but I don't see Detroit making this move since they just resigned Fabbri.

I also don't see Toronto making this trade and if you think Fabbri can play center it will be a long year for Toronto.

Defenseman in Liiga don't throw up a PPG pace.

    Come on! 🤣🤣🤣

Fabbri is decent. I wouldn't say excellent. Bertuzzi, Larkin and Raymond are excellent forwards.

I think so as well. Fabbri is pretty good and if Detroit was to move him it would probably be for a top 4 LHD or in a package for a top 4 LHD that can play now.

He's not a position of need though, If we want a RD we can draft one in this year upcoming draft.

I'm not sure Fabbri would get a top 4D in a trade. If Willy Nylander couldn't get one I don't see how Fabbri would. Plus we have to see how Fabbri comes back from his latest injury. He's had so many of them.

No it's not a need. But I think Yzerman would take advantage of a great opportunity here. However I don't think the Leafs would make this trade.

easy no from buffalo. I love how everyone in Toronto thinks every team wants to bail them out of their bad decisions.

Yeah I agree Toronto wouldn't move a top 4 LHD for Fabbri and it's why I added or in a package for a top 4 LHD. If he were going to a team like the Rangers or Colorado who will more than likely have to move a good dman or dprospect.

Yeah Fabbri can fill in at C a little bit. But full time? I don't see it. He's a much better winger.

Maybe we should aim higher than Fabbri in trading Niemela. I just think that we should be moving one of Sandin or Niemela. There is only so many spots for young puck moving d on the roster. Between Rielly, Sandin, Lilly and Niemela they are all the puck moving breed. Each of them needs to play with a more defensively oriented defenseman IMO.

Somehow they dump a horrible contract for nothing, then scoop up a 2nd for kerfoot. It really is so easy to hate Toronto lol
