I don't see Habs picking Slafkovsky when their biggest need are a center and a RHD.

Dallas makes sense if Klinkberg leave, but Buffalo is probably where Petry ends. Their GM said he want to add RHD vet to play with Dahlin and Power. Buffalo is an hour fly from Detroit, where his family is. They could have Petry for a low price (BUF 2022 2nd and a decent prospect). Habs get less, but don't have to retain or take a bad contract back.

I'd keep Dvorak and Hoffman until their value raise and we get a decent return (especially for Dvorak). If not, we keep them for the rebuild. They fill a spot until a prospect is ready.

I wouldn't be too mad if that DAL trade happens but I certainly wish it doesn't.

I don't want Petry anywhere near Dallas.

I am going for Bedard. Dvorak for Larsson help to fill the gape for RHD. Hoffman is the odd man out to me...

Dvorak for Larsson is an interesting idea.
I don't think it works for Seattle, but if they have a different plan (Klingberg for example), maybe?

Arizona will be passing quite easily. Not trading one of our better prospects for an aged vet

Slafkovsky is probably the perfect LW to play with Suzuki and Caufield and in an interview, I think Jeff Gorton said that he is interested in Juraj Slafkovsky. Next year, I'd be all in for Bedard if I am Kent Hughes.

What does Kukkonen have to do with THIS trade?
You don’t have him in it

And i do know what you’re offering:
-a LH defenseman prospect: no interest bc we are STACKED on the left side for years
-a winger prospect that hasn’t shown much: and oh yeah, we have a bunch of young winger prospects as well

And u want us to trade u Asplund, who is of value to us in a 2way role going forward
And you’re taking our ONLY defenseman prospect that’s a RH shot, and we’re VERY thin there

We’re not trading for a 35year old goalie either
If we want an old goalie, we could simply bring back Anderson, who has played fairly well for us

This trade just doesn’t make sense from Buffalo’s perspective AT ALL
We wouldn’t wanna give up what you’re asking for
And we wouldn’t be interested in those guys you’re trying to send us

    HARD PASS dude
Sorry, but it just doesn’t work for the Sabres

He’s not signed & YEARS away
We have ONE RH guy signed for the Sabres next year,
    That’s Jokiharju
We have a tweezer in Fitzgerald
And we have Laaksonen who’s a prospect developing in the AHL

That’s extremely thin on the RH side
    Laaksonen isn’t gonna be moved

And NONE of the guys you’re offering us are of ANY interest whatsoever
