I think they are going to have another off-year, I say pull a Yzerman, and stack the team with 1 year deadline rentals. The 2022, and more so the 2023 draft will be where this team builds it's future core.

Also Ottawa doesn't do that deal. Holden has been one of the best defensemen for the Sens this year.

As bad as this seasons been, they're still an expansion team. They need to keep building it up.

They're likely to have more blue chip prospects than Vegas after this draft. Real stark contrast in how the two expansion teams have went about things.
