It depends, he’s friends with our GM and might not want to move his family again. He’s made his money over his career, at this point I don’t think that’s his motive anymore.

The other destination that might would for MAF is the Leafs if they can work the cap. Leafs Cup winners from the 60s are still heroes in LeafLand. If Fleury could bring a Cup to the Leafs, he would be a god like figure....admitting he kinda has that in Vegas and Pittsburg already.

I doubt he wants to go to a Canadian team but it’s always possible

Why wouldn't he want to go to a Canadian team? The Covid restrictions are over so travel for family is easy. Gee, the Leafs travel schedule is much easier than Minnesota's.

I don’t know, it just seems like not many guys want to go to Canadian teams right now. I don’t think he ever waived his NMC in a potential deadline deal with the Leafs either but who knows.

I think it was Covid which was a difference in the past two years And must say some Canadian teams aren't even that attractive to Canadians. Isolated Winnipeg with the second worse travel schedule in the league, Edmonton's travel and weather (coming from a Toronto guy) But in most cases, Toronto and Vancouver aren't shunned. Apparently the Leaf/Hawk rumoured deal was never accepted by one or both of the teams as MAF was never asked about waiving.

I think Marc-Andre Fleury gets $5,000,000 x 1 year and Zadorov wont sign for $4,000,000 x 2 years he'll want more term and i could see him as a Yzerman target.

For Fiala, you should be willing to drive him to the airport yourself. He's far from untouchable. Ridly is great, but even at his ceiling he's nowhere close to the player that Fiala is and can be alongside Stützle. This is a no brainer trade, and both teams get something good out of it.

No he is "untouchable", like Sanderson and Pinto (and Chabot, Stutzle, Norris, Batherson, Tkachuk). These 8 guys are the CORE

He would be available for Kaprizov, Rossi or Boldy though (so you see, not fully untouchable!)
