Red Wings decline. Are you aware of Yzerman's history with Drouin from his Tampa days? How Stevie snookered Bergy into trading Sergachev for Drouin still baffles me.

1. Not enough for Kane but also why would a rebuilding team like MTL go after 33yr old who also has 2 years left?
2. DET won't take drouin.
3. Why is mtl giving a 1st and a serivable bottom 6 forward for a D with 5pts in his career?
4. MTL doesn't need more wingers so I don't think they do the ARZ trade.

That pick could be wright or cooley if the trade was at the draft this year. Could be bedard, michkov, fantilli or dvorsky, etc. For 23. Any one of those guys is worth drouin for 1 year.

You're right but even Chiarelli isn't dumb enough to trade a pick that could be Wright or Bedard just to move Drouin. Even if Detroit isn't on his no trade list.
