No, Bjorkstrand should 100% not be traded. He is Columbus’s best two way forward and on an amazing contract.

I’d move Laine before Bjorkstrand. Laine is awful defensive and is way too inconsistent to get the money he is going to ask for.

Don’t think that gets you miller. It doesn’t address any of vancouvers needs.

What would Laine cost? Let’s say we start with the 7th overall this year . How much more do we gotta add

I’m not sure Jarmo moves him for futures, if Laine does get moved I think he would go for a top 6 center.

You have to give some to get some…

Bjorky has the worst plus/minus rating of the whole team.. -34 so his defensive capabilities are overrated.

That being said I think he doesnt get traded in real life.

Draft picks, preferably early ones. RHD to play with Quinn Hughes. I highly highly doubt JT Miller gets traded without any of those assets in return. He’s on pace for 100 points this season. Some thing like Boqvist and one of your first round picks might get Allvin to pick up the phone

1st, young RD, middle 6 roster player

so that could be Roslovic and Boqvist or peeke and tex, depending on the player, a finalizing pick might have to be sent either way

Oh the good old plus/minus stat. Laine isn’t better than Bjorkstrand defensively and Bjorkstrand is a better more consistent play driver.

Bjorkstrand: 12 goals in 17 career games vs New Jersey
Miller: 4 goals in 26 career games vs New Jersey

No one is asking, but I will say it anyway...NJD would be pumped to see this move.

Vancouvers biggest need is a rhd to play with Hughes for the next 10 years so I would think a Miller to Columbus deal would involve peeke, one of roslovic or texier and a 1st (ideally a top 10 pick) coming back to Van
