Tyler Bertuzzi and J. T. Miller will never make it to free agency, If neither stay in Detroit or Vancouver both will be traded and signed to extensions with their new teams that acquire them. FYI it's not a 20 man roster. And you've zero cap in case of Injuries.

Bertuzzi will never make it to FA, as a matter of fact, I doubt he even makes to the start of 22-23 without a contract extension in place, with Detroit, or with someone else. I fully expect Yzerman to lock him up to an extension, or trade him if they can't come to an agreement, before camp.

Canucks won’t trade a 1st round pick. They could potentially move Miller to Pittsburgh with Marino being part of the deal though

I certainly hope so. Just so the lowball Bertuzzi trade offers can stop on CFACGM.

Even if you push from > to =... The only way Chiarot ends up being the better option is if he is at less cap than Pettersson. This suggest paying more for equivalent (at best).
