Sorry Rico, this is probably a stupid question. I still don't see how to tell which players I have the highest bid on. I can see all of my bids, I can't see which bids have been passed or accepted.

Hmm ... Let me try this ...

1. UFA Master: Every bid by every team
2. UFA Tracker: Nothing you need to worry about, but it can help you follow along to an extent. If a player is "hidden" (does not show) on that document, it means they have either been signed already or returned to the UFA pool. It also shows the order of bids for players, with highlighted groups indicating ties.
3. Signings Tracker:
Sheet 1: Shows all contract signings by all teams as well as budget information.
Sheet 2: Shows each team which players they currently have the highest remaining bid on. If a player appears under your team's column(s), you ARE the highest bid.
The players at the bottom in their own section, are currently TIED. No team listed under a player has the highest bid, they are all the same bid. Read the color coding to see what the colors mean.
Yellow = You can use waivers to claim the player. Orange = Not your turn/did not use waivers. Red = You can claim the player without using waivers, etc.
Sheet 3: Shows the current and future waiver order, as well as which teams have used theirs and how many times.

If you want to see where you rank in terms of bids on remaining players, where you have a bid but are not listed on the Tracker, you'll have to check manually for 5th place and beyond. I didn't quite expect players to be skipped by 5 GM's.

So I have some bad news to relay...

I appears as though DavidBooth and Zach have left the GM Game. Booth deleted his twitter account suddenly and has not popped back on Capfriendly since doing so and Zach has decided to leave as well I think. Their GM Game rosters are still up, so we should wait a few more days before doing anything rash. They could decide to come back but as of now this appears to be the situation we're in.

So that not only opens up two additional BOG spots, but also assistants will need to be notified of their promotion soon.

It appears Max and PastaSauce are next in line?

I hope this didn't stem from my suggestion post. What's the point of having a suggestion box if you're going to shut down and abandon ship when someone uses it?

It's some things I felt were necessary to talk about, as the topic was breached earlier and I requested we hold off and have a rational discussion on those topics once free agency was under control. It isn't something that was just going to "go away" by ignoring it. It would only fester and grow and result in a larger issue sooner or later. Hosting open discussion, engaging with other GM's, and listening to feedback are supposed to be part of the BOG role. If people are indeed shirking their responsibilities because of that, it only serves as reinforcement.

I really hope that isn't the case, but unless something major happened off-site that I'm not privy to, it's the only possible trigger I can see.
It wasn't even intended as a condemnation, but to simply reinforce ideals, serve as a refresher, and give everyone a way to move forward without the need for drama.

I'll help bridge the gap if necessary, but I'll hope cooler heads prevail.
