It's a boring Saturday afternoon, so I think I'll just go ahead and through my name in for BOG member considerations.

In light of all of this, I would like to make an announcement.

As many of you know, this game is a BETA version, which implies that there will be a time where another version is created. Around a month ago, myself and another GM drafted a v2 plan. This is only a plan. The basis of our plan was made from a perspective of a BOG member and a non-BOG member to draft a plan that we believed to share the interests of both, based on perspective. We added a few elements, while modifying the ones that we already know that failed and worked. Both of us had been members of the game from the very beginning.

Some things that we (mainly myself) took away was the noticeable difference that the BOG and the non-BOG had subconsciously separated. I am in no way blaming either party, just stating an observation. We believe that we have a remedy to that, which involves the liquidation of the BOG into v2 with the addition of another "government". Most notably, the "government" wouldn't be GMs in v2, and would act as the "MODs" of v2.

Just after reading this page alone, I knew that we have major flaws within the government and multiple plans. For example, communication. Just recently a plan was formed without any sort of online conversation about this. I am not condemning the BOG for talking offline, but no prior notice was made. Think of going to work one day and then coming home and finding a pool in the backyard. You and your significant other never talked about it, it just appears. That's sorta what it feels like on the outside.

Again, I am not blaming the BOG for acting in the best interests of the game. I simply wish that communication would be somewhat transparent, but offline talking is a major breakthrough that we didn't have before.

My plan, if elected to BOG, is to make strides to formally adapting v2, however, there are some red tape in our way. First, we need to talk to the MODs about coding a "subsection" or a dropdown, much like the "Armchair-GM" section. We need to see the timeline for that code, and the possibility that the code is ready prior to September 15th (estimated v2 start date via v2 plan).

Rangersandisles fan had an great idea staring this game, but I don't think he properly accounted for a major takeoff in the game. Thank you for making the game RAIF.

Now I know many of you guys are going to have questions and more questions, however, we need to put all questions on hold until after FA. If you have a question, write it down on a google doc, a notepad, what have you so that it can be addressed during a formal Q&A. One thing that I haven't addressed is what will happen to v1. The plan, which again, is just a plan, is to have v1 still live and active, but the focus on v2.

To reiterate once more, v2 is simply a plan at this point. We would need to have every GM make input in order to have the most seasoned product. Again, please hold questions, unless urgent.

We need to finish FA and have the BOG conduct public votes for new BOG members.

I want all the bickering to end. This is a game. We don’t need to constantly be at each other’s throats 24/7. This BETA has flaws. Save them for when v2 (if it happens- high chance it does) talks are conducted. Everyone’s opinion has value.

Basically what this tells me is that whoever was working on this V2 cares more about it then getting things right in this game.

Because of the stuff that has been going around here lately, I will be stepping down as a BoG member... you don't realize the amount of time Booth dedicates to this game Dangles. But if you want a shot at trying to match the effort of this so called dictator then by all means throw your name into the hat for a BoG position. But I am really close to leaving the game entirely because of how this game has become. Rangers started the game to be something of joy and pleasure and now it has turned into backstabbing and anger... frankly I'm sick of how this game has turned out, and I'm sick of the negative attitudes on here @Dangles. To be frank Dangles, you're lucky to be even part of this game after you were banned for 30 days and even put on Level 2 Infraction. So instead of attacking Booth and others, do something productive... make the change you want to see here. I'm sick and tired of this bull.
