The difference between Murphy and Mittelstadt is way more than a 4th. LA is probably fine holding onto Quick after his resurgence this year

Don't sleep on Murphy; that motivation is more so just clearing the logjam of forwards up front. And I'm not sure LA will want $10 million tied between both their goalies. Could be wrong, but see a great stop-gap for UPL there.

Im not sleeping on Murphy, he's an excellent shutdown dman.

LA has no major cap issues next year and will still need a 2nd goalie. Quick has been great this year for them

Bish is on LTIR. Doesn’t count against the cap. Take Dobby for a sixth and I’d be thrilled

Let’s just say this…if you could get a minute munching top 4 RHD for a bust and a 4th round pick then the hawks would be the ones trading for them.

Absolutely no need to trade Jonathan Quick in the last year of his contract, when we have the cap space to afford $10 million in free agents even with him.
