I’d dint realize he did that bad towards the end and I didn’t realize he got hurt.

Maybe I should switch this up

I'd just take Vanecek for Murray, 1 for 1, but this is above my expectations!!!!

I know that many Caps fans obsess about the Penguins and obtaining ex-Penguins but not Murray, not with a 10 foot pole. Murray is a broken headcase.

I have been lobbying to move Oshie's contract while someone is still fool enough to take it. However, Dorion isn't that bright, I mean, he gave Murray $6.25M and Forsberg $2.75M
Counter: Murray 50%, Ott 2022 2nd, 2023 3rd for Oshie, Hagelin, Jensen

(Oshie's contract is longer than a 10 foot pole btw)

eh, it's not that he's been awful while healthy. he was actually playing well for a good chunk of the games he played this season. Well at the start, pre-injury, REALLY poorly post-injury and until he got sent down to the AHL, and then decently post-call up back to the NHL and until his more recent injury. But it's just impossible for the guy to stay healthy, he just gets injured so often you can really only expect like 25 game out of him, max. If he was a backup on a cheap, short term deal, who occasionally stole the net for a bit longer, there'd be no complaints. But his frailty and contract absolutely tank his value. With the retained salary, it's not so bad, but yeah still.

Like I said in other ACGMs (just changing a few words) :

A Matt Murray who would be capable of staying healthy would definitely help a team but that hasn't happened in basically 3 seasons. He has been very injury prone and now, it's actually a big possibility that he isn't cleared for NHL CONTACT anymore (concussion issues)

Ottawa has to know if he ends up on LTIR first, if he does, no point paying any asset to trade him.

Retaining 3 M$ x 2 years to get out of the contract, I don't know if this help Ottawa at all.

He's one of the most injury-prone players in the whole NHL. He's overpaid too

He can play really well when healthy but that unfortunately doesn't last very long.

The problem isn't his ability (don't listen to ignorance)
