You know it's bad when you have to type the names for guys that are still in mid-to-low 20's

      also this is not right
jrob went in the 2nd round so Stevie had a chance to take him
Thomas went below where tampa drafted him so stevie had a chance to take him too
hughes isnt big enough so i doubt stevie would take him too
those are the big three here too and stevie wouldve missed on all 3 imo

It’s funny you say that because if you were to look up the DRW live draft thread on HFB. You’d see not only myself but quite a few fans wanting him. Same could be said about Stankoven.

Yes we all know the draft isn't perfect and if it was it would be really boring. Plus would the Wings still have Seider and Raymond they could have ended up with Krapo and Laffy Taffy.

The person who spends all his time looking backwards misses everything in front of him.

Totally fair. I can name a bunch of times guys I wanted ended up being better than the guys we took. And to be fair I slept on Johnston big time. I remember seeing him and thinking he was a very solid player (to be fair he was playing third line in a checking role) but never expected what he’s done this year. I was a little grumpy at the draft til Stankoven fell into our laps in the second round lol

Definitely fair, hard to predict the outcome of most if not all these guys. I’ve had some hits and I’ve also had some flops (or comparatively who was selected). I’d agree with you on Stranges, extremely odd skating so I’m not sure how that would translate to a faster pace. Although I haven’t watched him post draft to see if his still Mohawks around the ice.
