It's kind of hard to overestimate the value of a player who isn't being shopped and the Jets have absolutely no intentions of trading.

To be fair though, Jet fans aren't asking for anything they're just turning down lowball offers from Montreal fans.

I haven't seen jet fans asking for anything, other than saying it would take a massive overpay.

So you're saying if someone offers close to fair value on a Bruins player that they have no intention of trading, you'd agree to it? Because from whatI've seen of your posts, that isn't true.

The point here is that Montreal fans have been bombarding the site with lowball offers that fill no needs for the Jets in the opinions of everyone except die hard Montreal fans and Jet fans are simply telling them that won't work and that the only appropriate starting piece would be Suzuki.

Why I don't like for the Jets is you've included the 4.4m middling Dvorak in the trade. That sorta screws the Jets cap if they are looking for good centre to replace PLD.

Now how about a first, second and 900.000 Romanov...if the Jets knew they could sign UFA centre to their liking.
