Red Wings decline. Vegas has no leverage to get this return. Sens trade is a joke. Vegas is going to be knuckling under to get cap compliant this summer. They're the ones who'll be getting fleeced in trades. Not the other way around. You (Sens fan) reward Ottawa and screw Detroit, Chicago and Arizona. 🤣

Detriot certainly isn't going to do that trade. Remember, Vegas already "traded" Dadonov along with a second for a cap dump. The price of dumping him needs to be at least that. You certainly aren't getting positive value back for him.

The arizona trade is very intuging though. Have to think arizona takes it. They'll be looking to get about the cap floor and getting Pach is a pretty darn good way of doing it. They might try to send a lesser player than Crouse though.

Zadina for Dadonov absolutely isn't happening, Not trading a young 22 year old winger for an aging winger in Dadonov. Zadna only get moved for a similar aged similar styled winger needing a change of scenery.

The Lehner trade is bad for CHI. We weren't prepared to commit to that deal when he was here, its unlikely we would look at it now and also give up a 50 point player. There would need to be substantial compensation for any consideration

First trade: Ottawa says no, maybe says no without throwing needing to throw in a 2nd round pick. Also doesn't make sense for Vegas to get rid of their most productive defenseman for a player they kinduv already have.
Second trade: would be brutal for Vegas long term. Giving up NHL caliber goalie & one of most productive veterans for Lawson Crouse? Considering they gave up Suzuki +hi picks to get Pacoretti seems like a MAJOR backwards move.
Third trade: not sure why Detroit would consider this trade at all, not looking for older/past prime forwards for nothing.
Forth trade: need to add A LOT more to make that reasonable for Chicago and is probably the worst of the bunch. Fleury + Lehner >> Lehner + Brossoit >> collection of goalies after above trades.

In general, don't think you are sending enough for any of the trades & think if all accepted team is even worse off then it is now. All that is gained is unrealistic 2nd round pick.

Max Pacioretty isn't waiving for that dumpster fire of a team in Arizona. No reason for Robin Lehner to waive for a team heading for a rebuild. Shea Theodore gets a lot more then that. And a cap dump in Dadonov doesn't get Ryan Ellis. All teams not named Vegas 100% pass.

Dadonov will cost less to get rid of in the offseason.

They had a hard deadline to get something done in like a day that is gone now with the summer. He's also helped the cause with his very good end to the season.

Not to mention Vegas could just buy him out for only 667k against the cap this season then 1.5 million more the season after when the cap goes up another million and Vegas has 8.2 million coming off the books on top of it.

Well, you`ll be stuck buying him out I guess, because nobody is trading for him for anything less than what anaheim ``did``.

Why would they.

Because they can flip him for half retained for a 2nd. Vegas gives a 3rd. A 2nd and 3rd for 2.5 million is about the rate.
